You say LinerLux has the strongest warranty – what’s so great about it?
LinerLux brand replacement liner comes with a 10 year warranty. In addition to this, if you experience a defect in our product within 5 years, we will replace it, not repair it. Most people don’t realize that once their replacement liner is installed, the warranty is pro-rated through the factory, not warranted by the pool company or pool guy. It also doesn’t cover labor, which is in the hundreds of dollars. Not us, we take care of you. We will even reimburse you for water and chemicals if we have to drain your pool to correct a problem!
You used the term 'pro-rated' when you were talking about warranty. What is a pro-rated warranty?
A pro-rated warranty penalizes the homeowner for the amount of time they’ve already had use of the liner.
For instance: If you bought a defective liner but the defect didn’t become apparent for three years, you would be required to pay on average 24% of the current retail price of that liner, plus the labor for swapping out the old liner for the new one. A total cost on average of over $800.00.
